Mr. King is the man who single handedly gave you the Grand Orient of the United States. He provided the false information to the Grand Lodge of Georgia that the RRCG was an agent of Prince Hall. This led to the expulsion of good mainstream Masons without trial or due process.

This is the man that created the present schism through lying about his brothers.

I seriously doubt that he was the sole deciding factor. Without getting into a useless sparring match over unproven statements, I think there was plenty of blame to go around for a long time before Ed picked it up and there's no use rehashing it here.

If there is to be any future success, moving beyond the past, IMHO, will be required. Good luck.

I think it's important for my brothers to understand that the information provided at MasonicInfo is biased, one sided, and in many cases false.

If we continue down the un-brotherly and un-Masonic path of name calling promoted by Mr. King then it will be difficult to establish Peace and Harmony among the various groups of Mason operating in the United States.

I think all of us (GLC and GOUSA) prefer the brotherhood of Freemasonry to the endless battles and name calling. It doesn't have to be this way and we can choose a new and brighter path right now.

We can begin working together to promote the value of Freemasonry in all its many and varied forms, and prove to our fellow citizens of the USA that Masons are above and beyond petty political differences, and that we can work together regardless of our philosophical differences.

I've spent the last 48 hours calling all the stone throwers I know (on both sides) to get everyone to stop shouting and start listening. Widow's Son and Bro. Theron have done the same. If anyone knows of someone still throwing stones please let us know so that we can try and bring things under control. If we are willing to work together on this I feel that it can only make all Freemasons look better.

While I don't agree with certain actions or beliefs, I would never resort to name-calling or bashing others simply to make a point or to belittle them.

As a man and as a Mason, I feel that we should be able to rationally discuss controversial topics.

Please let us know when the Halycon temple will be returned to the rightful owners, the brothers of Halycon Lodge of the GL of OH. I have said all along, I don't care what you do with the your GL, and honestly only wish you the best on your endevors, but what is going on with the assests of the lodge is simply wrong, it is no different than the guy in maine that embezzeled the lodge funds.

Once the lodge is returned to the rightful owners, this will all be over, but until it is done, your not going to get any accpetance.

Take this all and concider it at least.

As I understand from Bro. Dunn on his blog, the current member of Halcyon Lodge 498 are meeting in another location under charter from the Grand Lodge of Ohio until the situation with Halcyon Lodge 3 gets resolved.
